FAQs
How does it work?
All you have to do is take a look at the low FODMAP cooking class schedule and pick a session you’d like to join. Prior to the class you’ll receive an email with the full menu, recipes we’ll be following, ingredients list and any other relevant details. Each class is hosted via Zoom and will be recorded so you can watch at a later date too.
What do I need?
Yourself! Before each class you’ll receive a list of ingredients. For each class we will typically use an oven and stovetop but no special equipment is needed (unless stated on the class description which you can see prior to booking).
Do I have to attend live?
No! The class is recorded so if you aren’t able to join on the date, you can watch back later and still cook along.
What happens in the class?
Each class is based around a different theme and will always include a completely low FODMAP menu. The duration for each class can be seen when you go to book a time. We’ll cook through each recipe together step by step, share some stories and have a few laughs. I’ll share additional tips and tricks to help you with cooking low FODMAP meals and you’ll be able to ask any questions throughout.
Who are the classes run by?
The classes are run by me (Lydia)! I’m a low FODMAP recipe book author, nutrition science student and passionate home cook living in Melbourne, Australia. I’ve stepped through the low FODMAP diet myself and have been sharing my journey on Instagram. Occasionally I’ll be joined by a special guest from the low FODMAP space to share some recipes.
Who are the classes for?
These classes are suitable whether you have been following the low FODMAP diet, are new to it, have IBS, know someone who is or are simply looking for a fun way to try some new recipes. They are best suited to beginner to moderate home cooks over the age of 16.
